Technology

Not all lasers are created equal.  When it comes to your eyes, Iowa EyeCare provides nothing but the best.  There are 6 FDA approved lasers in the United States and only 3 of them have eye-tracking systems.  This means that if your eye moves more than a fraction of a centimeter during the procedure, the laser will automatically shut off, protecting you from potential harm.  With our strong commitment to being the best, our laser is most certainly equipped with eye-tracking systems.

With respect to technology, do not settle for a laser that does not have eye-tracking capabilities. Some advertisements do not fully disclose whether or not their laser has eye-trackers. In fact some centers have one laser with a tracker and one without. They advertise the fee for the non-tracking laser and charge more for the tracking laser.

Iowa EyeCare also has installed a climate control system that keeps the temperature, humidity and airflow constant for each and every patient regardless of outside weather conditions. This greatly reduces any variables that can affect the laser, which provides you with a much higher quality outcome.
