About Us

Dr. Noyes started his practice in Marion in April of 1979 by sharing office space with Dr. Paul Orcutt, a family practitioner. The practice grew quickly, and in 1987, the current Marion office building was built, and many staff and additional doctors were added. The growing streak continued and in October of 1997, the Cedar Rapids office was opened. Originally on 1st Avenue, the Cedar Rapids location was moved in February of 1998 to its present location on 10th Street. In 2001, the third branch of Iowa EyeCare was opened in Robins including a surgery suite for Lasik Surgery—as one of the first optometric practices in the country to do so.

Today Iowa EyeCare is the largest optometric practice in the state of Iowa and one of the largest optometric practices in the country. The technology we have is the finest available, featuring 3 Optos units, 3 GDx’s, 3 digital retinal cameras, Optical Coherence Tomography, VISX Star 4 Eximer Laser, Orbscan, Wave Scan, and Ocular Blood Flow.
